Recently, there have been significant improvements of UV curable inks in number plate machine especially in numeral coating. As a result of these dramatic advancements along with computer technology have opened newer height of opportunities for license plate manufacturers in meeting the all the durability prerequisites of number plates. Chief benefits of UV curable inks include the reduction of traditional solvent flumes and a more compact system. But on the other side of the equation, this system produces rigorous odours. For this reason, it is very important license plate manufacturers should design a well-ventilated system. Another requirement is a UV light curing system which could pose subsequent risks to the inmate operators especially from lamps as heat and ozone generation. In connection to this, these coatings have been proven to be not so durable in meeting the rule of a thumb in the past years.

The best part here is that these inks are qualified for appropriate use.
